Dallas Mavericks have Dorian Finney-Smith on one of the best bargain contracts
The Dallas Mavericks spent significantly in the 2019 offseason. The plan was to reshape their roster around their two stars. The Mavs added pieces, locked up Kristaps Porzingis, and retaining their own free agents. The contract handed out to Dorian Finney-Smith immediately stuck out.
The 27-year-old went undrafted in 2016 but cracked the Mavs rotation as a rookie. His minutes steadily increased every season. Heading into free agency, Doe-Doe had started 26 games while averaging 24.
