The Dallas Mavericks were without point guard Dennis Smith Jr. against the New Orleans Pelicans on Dec. 5. It marked the second game he had missed with a wrist injury, and that is where the worry comes in.
DSJ missed the Nov. 24 win over the Celtics with a right wrist injury. Then, he was on the injury report as questionable for four straight games but played each time. Now, he misses against the Pelicans because he re-aggravated the injury.
Here is what DSJ had to say about it courtesy of Dwain Price.
