NBA dunk week is coming to an end, but we can’t let it pass by without mentioning that a Dallas Mavericks player finished with the No. 2 ranked dunk around the league last year. Sure, that player isn’t in Dallas anymore, but that doesn’t change the fact that Dennis Smith Jr. was a Maverick when the dunk took place.
Most of us around here are still missing DSJ and wishing things could have gone a little differently. Although we would do the trade for Kristaps Porzingis again and again, it is sad the way things ended between Dennis and Dallas.
