It was another playoff like atmosphere surrounding the Dallas Mavericks Friday night. They were able to continue their recent surge, defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 103-93. They now can clinch a spot with one more victory, in their last three games.
The win did not come without battle wounds, however. The team lost their best offensive option as of late, when J.J. Barea strained his groin in the second quarter. He tried to return to the game, but was unable to continue, and missed the entire second half.
With Barea out, the team leaned on a committee approach to scoring.
