The Dallas Mavericks needed a center to plug two of their biggest deficiencies from last season. The Mavs were one of the worst team in the NBA in rebounding, and they needed a roll man to make life easier for their two recent lottery selection ball handlers. Enter DeAndre Jordan.
Jordan signed a one-year deal after ten seasons with the LA Clippers. He has grabbed 5,684 rebounds over the last five seasons and was one of the primary members of the “Lob City” Clippers. Jordan has also shot 68.9 percent from the field over those five years.
