The Dallas Mavericks wrapped up preseason play Friday with a loss to the Chicago Bulls, which means it was time to trim the training camp roster from 20 players to 15 ahead of Wednesday’s opener in Phoenix.
There were the obvious casualties: Brandon Ashley, Jamil Wilson, Tu Holloway (who will play for the Texas Legends) and Jarrid Famous (already cut to make room for Tu Holloway).
And though it might not have come as a shock to some, Salah Mejri was chosen as the third center rather than Samuel Dalembert.
