Dallas Mavericks icon and future Hall of Famer Dirk Nowitzki may be retiring at season’s end. The German has not made a declaration, but opposing teams are taking the chance to honor Dirk either way.
The Mavs traveled to Brooklyn to take on the Nets on Monday evening. The game did not go the way they planned as the Nets won virtually every second of the contest in route to a 127-88 victory.
The Brooklyn fans did it right too. Starting in pregame warmups they honored Dirk the entire evening.
