The Dallas Mavericks are well into their season by the Thanksgiving holiday. The month of November itself is an ironic time of the year. Christmas music dominates retail and grocery stores alike. Football viewing is as big of a tradition as the holiday it lands. Turkey, the perfect food for a nap, is the biggest dish of Thanksgiving, and more importantly the mascot, but ironically, the big feathered bird isn’t the talking point of the table.
It’s the precious moments you share with your family, and the appreciative gestures which best describes the holiday overshadowed by Christmas sales, the turkey itself is considered a bonus to a lovely day with family you otherwise don’t see as much.
