The Dallas Mavericks are close to finalizing their roster for the upcoming season. Assuming they get Dirk Nowitzki signed to a contract before training camp, the Mavs have 14 players under standard contract.
That leaves the Dallas front office with just one roster spot to fill. The team also has one two-way contract available after signing second-round draft choice Kostas Antetokounmpo to one earlier this offseason.
The Mavs thought they had their last spot filled, but Yogi Ferrell backed out of his deal with Dallas and decided to play for the Sacramento Kings next season.
