The Dallas Mavericks wrapped up their scrimmage slate from Orlando on July 28 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Luka Doncic led the way for Dallas. It was a fantastic tune-up as both teams will be in the playoffs with hopes of making deep postseason runs.
The Sixers were without Joel Embiid on Tuesday. They held him out to make sure he was healthy for their seeding games. That allowed five-time All-Star Al Horford to start against the Mavs. Ben Simmons also did not play in the second half for Philadelphia.
Kristaps Porzingis returned after missing Dallas’ last scrimmage.
