The center position is one with a very black and white history for the Dallas Mavericks. As far back as the beginning of the franchise, the Mavs have been known to have really bad centers, sprinkled in with a few really good ones. With the way things are looking right now, Dallas may have another good one locked in for awhile.
Nerlens Noel will be one of the Mavs top priorities this summer and we expect to be the most likely team to bring him back. When that happens, the Dallas Mavericks will need to decide whether they are going to stick with Salah Mejri as the backup center or not.
