LOS ANGELES - Spud Webb hasn't talked to Dennis Smith Jr. going into Saturday's Verizon Slam-Dunk Contest.
But if the best dunker ever associated with Dallas to date did, he'd have two words of advice above all others.
"Enjoy it," Webb said Friday morning.
You only get to take part in All-Star weekend for the first time once. And that's why Webb, a Dallas native, said it's important to take it all in -- even though Smith is on record about being here to win, and nothing else.
"This is where you get a chance to fraternize with these guys who can really play and really dunk," Webb said.
