Curry scored 30 points as Warriors race past Mavs, 126-102

SAN FRANCISCO – Stephen Curry poured in 30 points and distributed seven assists on Sunday afternoon in leading the Golden State Warriors to a 126-102 triumph over the short-handed Dallas Mavericks at Chase Center.

The loss dropped the Mavs to 31-27 entering Tuesday’s game in Los Angeles against the Lakers. Meanwhile, the victory moved the Warriors (30-27) within half-a-game of the Mavs for eighth place in the Western Conference standings.

Kyrie Irving and P. J. Washington paced the Mavs with 17 points apiece, while Klay Thompson and Jaden Hardy each scored 11 points.

In addition to Curry, the Warriors got 18 points from Jimmy Butler, 14 points each from Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski, and 13 points from Draymond Green.
