Before the Mavericks and Milwaukee Bucks had a riveting night of entertaining basketball, one of the things nagging at Jason Kidd was a scheduling quirk that had him dreaming of managing a baseball team instead.
With another game tipping off in Chicago against the Bulls less than 20 hours after the Mavericks finished their 106-105 loss to the Bucks, Kidd had a point to make.
“We can only focus on tonight even though we wish this was baseball at spring training so we could have a split squad and send half the squad up to Chicago,” he said.
