Kawhi Leonard scored 36 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 118-108 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night at American Airlines Center in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
The win moved the Clippers — who rallied from a 19-point first-quarter deficit– to within 2-1 of the Mavs in this best-of-seven series that resumes back here on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. And it totally disappointed the crowd of over 17,000 fans.
While the Clippers got a big game from Leonard and 29 points and seven boards from Paul George, it was four major three-pointers from Morris in front of the Mavs’ bench that did in the Mavs.
