NEW YORK – Arguably every player on the Dallas Mavericks’ roster has a soft spot in their heart for Jalen Brunson.
That’s why when the Mavs square off against Brunson and his new team – the New York Knicks – on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. CT at Madison Square Garden, this will be more than just a regular NBA game. This will be players strolling down memory lane and remembering with fondness the four years Brunson went to battle with them while he was a member of the Mavs.
“Jalen is a great player,” guard Frank Ntilikina said.
