Mavs star Dirk Nowitzki had already missed two of the teams first four games prior to tonight’s matchup against their Western Conference rival the Portland Trail Blazers. While he did play in this game, it appears that the Big German will miss more time.
After posting 5 points and 7 rebounds in 16 first half minutes, Nowitzki didn’t return for the second half of the game with an achilles injury.

Only time will tell how severe Dirk’s injury really is, as he may miss some games beyond this next week.
