Brandon Williams opened some eyes, had a very productive season for Mavs

A season which started with point guard Brandon Williams on a two-way contract ended last week with Williams scoring 16 points and distributing seven assists in just 22

efficient minutes during the Dallas Mavericks’ loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA play-in tournament.

In between, Williams was such a solid contributor to the Mavs that on April 10 they turned his two-way contract into a standard multi-year contract. That’s how much they valued his work, and he is forever grateful for their generosity.

“I made improvements and strides in ways that people didn’t think I could,” Williams said.
