The preseason predictions on the Dallas Mavericks’ win totals have varied to say the least. The guys over at CBS Sports were certainly the least optimistic, predicting Dallas for 33, 32, 30 and 30 wins respectively. The man who picked 32, Zach Harper, was quick to question his own prediction on the Eye On Basketball podcast the next day when he remembered that Rick Carlisle coaches the Mavericks. However, while Carlisle is a key ingredient to Dallas’ success, the reason for pessimism surrounding the Mavericks’ 2015-16 campaign was health. Yet here we are, three games into the season and the Mavericks have everyone not named JaVale McGee playing.
