Best Suitor for the Shooter

Down one in the series, is it already time for a strategy shift? The Rockets’ usual gameplan of force feeding the ball to James Harden wasn’t the name of the game on Saturday night, and it paid dividends for Houston. Harden tallied 11 assists which created 27 points. If the Mavericks’ tactic was to get the ball out of Harden’s hands, they succeeded, but the other defenders need to do a better job of closing out on the other shooters.

It’s not a secret that the Rockets like the the three-point shot. In fact, they averaged 32.7 three-point attempts in the regular season.
