RJ Barrett scored 32 points and the New York Knicks used a balanced attack to beat the Dallas Mavericks, 108-85, Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden.
The game marked the midway point of the season for the Mavs, who had their impressive six-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 22-19 going into Friday’s huge Southwest Division showdown against the red-hot Memphis Grizzlies.
Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 21 points, 11 rebounds nd five assists, Jalen Brunson finished with 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 13 points.
Other than Barrett, the Knicks got 19 points and 10 boards from Mitchell Robinson, 17 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists from Julius Randle, 13 points from Evan Fournier and 10 points and eight rebounds from Alec Burks.
