That was the one-word quote from Wesley Matthews last week when he was asked if he still considered the Mavericks to be playoff-capable.
This is what Matthews has become -- the voice of the Mavericks. He's been here a couple years now. Dirk Nowitzki is sidelined. Somebody in the locker room has to be the vocal leader.
Matthews said it's not something that just happened in the last month.
"I feel like I've always been that guy," Matthews said after the Mavericks' 107-82 bashing of Chicago on Saturday. "That's what I do. It's no change for me.
