Amid COVID-19 outbreak, Mavericks may have good news with Dončić

As COVID-19 news continues to create one storm cloud after another, a much-needed sliver of sunshine broke through for the Mavericks Tuesday evening.

Amid signings of new players and the loss of another key player, Tim Hardaway Jr., to the COVID-19 protocols, coach Jason Kidd slipped in the nugget that Luka Donu010diu0107 has a decent shot of returning to action Thursday when Milwaukee visits American Airlines Center.

Donu010diu0107 missed his fifth consecutive game Tuesday while dealing with soreness in his left ankle. The injury has lingered since mid-November and he has missed nine of the 17 games since it happened.
