DALLAS — Despite falling into a 0-2 hole after dropping Games 1 and 2 against the Houston Rockets, the Dallas Mavericks are confident that they can get back into their first-round playoff series simply by holding serve at home.
Sliding to a 118-108 loss in Game 1, the Mavericks (0-2) attempted to steal the momentum away from the Rockets (2-0) with a win Tuesday night. But, with both starting small forward Chandler Parsons (right knee) and sixth man Devin Harris (left great toe) forced to watch in street clothes, the shorthanded Mavs admittedly fell apart in the fourth quarter before limping off the court following a 111-99 defeat.
