What a long strange trip it's been.

OK, maybe not as long and strange as the Grateful Dead's trip through life, but pretty strange. And plenty long.

It started with a broken ankle -- the real kind, not the one you get on a Dennis Smith Jr. crossover -- for Phoenix's Isaiah Canaan. It weaved its way to leg surgery for Seth Curry and Harrison Barnes' first notable injury as a Maverick, a left ankle sprain.
