A 2021 free agency primer from Mavs Moneyball

When I took over the reigns of Mavs Moneyball in March of 2020, the world was fairly normal, all things considered. By the end of the month, everything was different and we were simply trying to make it through. Then the season resumed, Dallas played a wild series against the Clippers, and we had a truncated off-season headed into the 2020-21 season.

Fast-forward to now, following a 72 game season crammed into as little of time as possible and now a playoffs structured to finish before the Olympics. This season, we’re getting a slightly more on-schedule free agency.
