The short-handed Dallas Mavericks came back from double digits in the fourth quarter to defeat the Utah Jazz, 122-114. Tim Hardaway Jr. found his touch to lead Dallas with 27 points. Jordan Clarkson was the high scorer in defeat for Utah with 18 points.
With Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and Dorian Finney-Smith getting rest days, the Dallas starting line up was one of the stranger ones seen this season. The Jazz opted to sit Donovan Mitchell in response, so one may have expected a weaker offensive performance from Utah in response.
