The Dallas Mavericks returned to action after a win Wednesday but fell to the Golden State Warriors 147-116.
What this game lacked in defense, it made up for in offense as both teams filled up the scoreboard while failing to offer any resistance on the defensive end. The Mavericks played the Warriors tight, even taking a lead into the half. But the Warriors picked the Mavericks apart in the third quarter, and the Mavericks offense turned into a pumpkin effectively ending the game early. The Warriors outscored the Mavericks by 33 points in the second half as Dallas collapsed, tucked their tails between their legs, and limped to the finish line.
