DALLAS — With his 2014-15 season over and surgery on his aching right knee expected in the coming weeks, Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons still has a message for his teammates entering Friday’s pivotal Game 3: just win.
Re-aggrevating a right knee injury that caused him to miss the final six games of the regular season during the Mavericks’ 118-108 Game 1 loss, Parsons was then forced to watch in street clothes as his team fell into a 0-2 hole following Tuesday’s 111-99 defeat. Now, after the announcement Wednesday that Parsons’ season will come to an end while he and the organization seek the proper surgical procedure to repair his knee, the team’s third-leading scorer hopes that his teammates can pick up the slack in his absence as the series shifts to Dallas for Friday’s critical Game 3.
