1. Making history

Singh Bhamara is a 7-2, 290-pound center from India. He is the first person ever born in India to be drafted by an NBA team. Sim Bhullar, a 7-5 center, became the first person of Indian descent to play in the NBA when he appeared in three games for the Sacramento Kings in April. But he was born and raised in Canada.

2. Still a teenager

Singh Bhamara, who is only 19, has played for the IMG Academy team in Florida for the past several years.
