The Dallas Mavericks are reportedly not yet satisfied with their offseason acquisitions despite landing both former All-Star guard Deron Williams and center Zaza Pachulia, and that could lead to some more movement for the team as the weeks go on this offseason.
According to Andrew Tobolowsky of WFAA Sports, we should "expect the Mavs to start the season looking a lot different than they do today, and second, accept that to be especially the case in the front court. I'm sure a big part of letting Richard Jefferson go was the process of holding out hope, on the part of the front office, that something substantial can be done with the front court."
"Long story short, stay tuned. There are more moves coming," Tobolowsky added. "The Mavs are hoping there are more Deron and Zaza style deals to be had, and you and I had better too."
Part of this may be an assumed void left over the DeAndre Jordan deal falling through, but it likely is more about owner Mark Cuban's penchant for never staying static or becoming complacent when it comes to roster construction.
Stay tuned.
