The 2019-20 NBA season has been postponed since March, but now the NBA is in talks to get the season restarted in Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Bleacher Report put out a recent article that has a wish list for the Dallas Mavericks’ in free agency. One of the players on that list is Tim Hardaway Jr., who has a near $20 million player option. If Tim Hardaway Jr. declines his player option with the Dallas Mavericks, he should absolutely be the top priority for Mark Cuban, Donnie Nelson and the Mavs this summer in free agency.

Avery Bradley of the Los Angeles Lakers signed a deal that includes a $5 million player option for next season with the Lakers. Bradley has been an excellent defensive presence for the Los Angeles Lakers, although he has not been handling most of the offensive playmaking responsibilities. Bradley is good, but the Dallas Mavericks may already have a different version of Avery Bradley under contract in Delon Wright. Delon Wright did not play a lot in his first year with the Dallas Mavs, but he still has a lot of room to grow as a player with the Mavericks and on the defensive end of the floor.

One last player Bleacher Report mentioned in their free agent wish list for the Dallas Mavericks was Mason Plumlee of the Denver Nuggets. Plumlee provides the Denver Nuggets with a nice change of pace from their usual all-NBA center, Nikola Jokic. Plumlee could be a nice replacement for the Dallas Mavericks who will be missing Dwight Powell for parts of the 2020-21 NBA season. But does Dallas really need to prioritize a big man when it has Boban Marjanovic, Dwight Powell, Maxi Kleber and Kristaps Porzingis under contract for next season?
