The Dallas Mavericks will be headed to Orlando to finish the 2019-20 NBA season without the services of Willie Cauley-Stein. Cauley-Stein is expecting a newborn in July, but with Cauley-Stein sitting out, the Mavericks gained a roster spot. With that open roster spot, the Dallas Mavericks decided to sign former Maverick Trey Burke. Trey Burke played in 25 games with the Mavs last season, and he will now return to play with the Mavs in Orlando. Bleacher Report recently put out an article that had hypothetical trades for every NBA team. The Dallas Mavericks’ trade involved Al Horford of the Philadelphia 76ers. In this hypothetical trade, the Dallas Mavericks traded Dwight Powell, Delon Wright and Justin Jackson to the Philadelphia 76ers for Al Horford. The Mavs reportedly targeted Al Horford this past summer, but he signed a massive deal with the Philadelphia 76ers instead that has not worked out for either side.
