Following the Dallas Mavericks' dominating 105-82 road victory over the Utah Jazz on Friday night, Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle paid future Hall-of-Famer the ultimate compliment.

Carlisle: "Everyone better enjoy Dirk Nowitzki while he's playing, 'cause there's not going to be another one like him ever."

Nowitzki posted a double-double (27 points, 10 rebounds), easily dismantiling the Utah Jazz's defense with the energy of a 20-year-old.
Dirk's passion and dedication to his craft has made him both one of the most unique and one of the most successful players in the modern era of NBA basketball. As is the case with watching these players in action, it's usually years after they've left the court that people see how big of an influence they've had on the game.
Carlisle's words after Friday's game in Salt Lake City call for Mavs fans to rectify that by enjoying what they have in one of Nowitzki's final seasons in the league. It'll be easy to do that if he continues to take down opponents like he did to a young Utah Jazz team in front of their home faithful.
