Dallas Mavericks: Mark Cuban supports rowdy Mavs PA announcer

In the world of the Dallas Mavericks, any controversy seems to be good controversy in the eyes of Mavs owner Mark Cuban.

Per Eddie Sefko of the Dallas Morning News, Mark Cuban was asked whether or not Mavericks PA announcer Sean Heath will return to call Mavericks games after Heath cost Cuban $25,000 due to pointed remarks at NBA officials on Twitter:

“Yeah, absolutely,” Cuban stated. “I just told him to stay off Twitter when it comes to games. I can’t talk about how important it is to have an amazing in-game environment and have somebody get all hyped up like I do, and then criticize him for doing what I do. That would be awful hypocritical of me.”

Mark Cuban also made it clear that paying the fine was no problem: “There’s limits as far as the league is concerned,” he said. “He still shouldn’t have said it. I have no problem paying the fine. It should have been on me to not let him go there."

“Like I said, it’s a hurricane in a urinal, we flush and move on.”
