Here's a bit of Dallas Mavericks levity that would be a marketing dream for one-of-a-kind Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones --how would King James look doing his traditional pre-game routine on the giant star at AT&T stadium?
Earlier today, Miami Heat legend-in-waiting LeBron James was asked about the possibility of him landing with the Dallas Mavericks this offseason, and beat writer Ethan J. Skolnick caught the deflection via tweet:
LeBron asked if he will sign with Dallas this summer. "Think the Dallas Cowboys will take me?"

LeBron James was also asked by former LA Lakers player Rick Fox about how he likes his eggs prepared, so you can get a sense of how loose James' All-Star media session today was.
LeBron James' self-awareness and ability to poke fun at the conventions of celebrity and gossip have served his allure and mystique quite well over the years. Yet, with Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban's wallet as a weapon, don't be too surprised if the Mavericks end up as a legitimate dark-horse candidate this offseason once King James hits the open market.
