Cowboys rumors are set to REALLY heat up about roster moves at DT. There are some options for Cowboys at DT in both free agency and the trade market. Unlike most positions, the DT trade market might actually make more sense than trying to sign someone. Marcell Dareus is a free agent but he’s washed up. Of course, the Cowboys could try to sign Damon Harrison off the Seahawks’ practice squad, but that’s a long-shot.

There are some internal options on the roster for the Cowboys to replace Trysten Hill. Tyrone Crawford continues to get reps at DT in this hybrid Cowboys defense, and although he was better vs. the Giants, he doesn’t look the same. Justin Hamilton is on the practice squad and could be the logical short-term 53-man roster replacement. But the Cowboys are probably hoping 3rd round rookie Neville Gallimore can emerge after a slow start to his NFL career.
