FRISCO -- Back when the Cowboys last played Washington, in Week 2, rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott fumbled twice, losing one. He hasn't lost a fumble in the eight games since.
But the trouble with ball security against the Redskins still sticks out to "Zeke" when he thinks about Thursday's NFC East rematch at AT&T Stadium. Elliott ended up being benched late in he first match-up, with veteran Alfred Morris taking his place. Of course, Elliott has gone on to live up to expectations and is leading the NFL in rushing.
"I remember we were playing pretty well, I remember I had some ball security issues, that's my biggest memory," Elliott said Tuesday.
