'You've got to want to be in those moments': How Cowboys QB Dak Prescott's knack for performing in the clutch dates back to his childhood

There will be a point Sunday afternoon, probably in the fourth quarter as the outcome hangs in the balance, that the Cowboys look to Dak Prescott to make a play that will secure a division title.

The quarterback's preparation in the days leading up to the game with Indianapolis will factor into his ability to rise to the occasion, a phrase the Cowboys coaching staff prefers to avoid. But his ability to succeed in the clutch goes back much longer.

It goes back to his childhood.

"All my life I've been a little kid running around, doing the three, two, one then shooting at the basketball goal, making up a last-minute drive in my head,'' Prescott said.
