With no Dez and no Witten, here's how Ezekiel Elliott could be in line for more a touches and a big vocal role

FRISCO -- Before organized team activities started three weeks ago, Cowboys running backs coach Gary Brown had a conversation with Ezekiel Elliott.

Leadership was discussed. Specifically, being more vocal.

Any player can speak up in front of the team. It just means more when it comes from the star running back.

Since the start of OTAs last month, Elliott has not only been leading the running back drills, he's been talking more, something that wasn't really needed when veterans like Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden were on the roster the previous two years.

"[Elliott's] been much more vocal," Brown said.
