With Jason Witten headed for the exit, Cowboys are definitely Dak Prescott's team now

If there was any doubt as to whether the 2018 Cowboys should be considered “Dak’s Team," it was removed Friday with the second shocking removal of a receiver in two weeks. This time it was the player’s decision that altered the club’s future, not the team’s choice.

The Dallas Morning News reported early Friday that Jason Witten was set to leave America’s Team for ESPN's Monday Night Football team. Witten met with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on Friday and appeared poised to announce his retirement from the NFL after 15 seasons in Dallas in which Witten became the club’s all-time leader in games played (239), catches (1,152) and receiving yards (12,448).
