With Dak Prescott alarmingly average vs. Broncos, Troy Aikman said it: Cowboys miss Tony Romo

It's not often a lead NFL analyst for one network pays tribute to a lead analyst from another. But there was Fox's Troy Aikman Sunday saying the Cowboys miss at least one thing CBS' Tony Romo brought when he quarterbacked the team not so long ago.

"They've lost out on some of the big plays that they used to get when Romo was quarterbacking," Aikman told America when the Cowboys trailed 35-10 with five minutes remaining in the third quarter. "They haven't been able to get any big plays this afternoon."

Without the support of an Ezekiel Elliott-powered running game against the Denver Broncos, Romo's successor Dak Prescott looked alarmingly average.
