IRVING, Texas -- The Denver Broncos' win in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers strangely had me thinking about the Dallas Cowboys in 2007.
Yes, I know, let it go. That's a lifetime ago. Nothing can be done. I hear all that.
But when two of the central figures in the Broncos' win were DeMarcus Ware and Wade Phillips, I can't let it go.
Ware was almost unblockable in the playoffs. He had 3.5 sacks in three games and had 12 quarterback pressures. Phillips devised game plans to beat Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady and Cam Newton, the NFL's Most Valuable Player.
