EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott couldn't connect all Sunday night at just-as-frigid MetLife Stadium. The first seven attempts from Prescott to his star receiver registered as incomplete or worse -- twice ending up in the hands of New York Giants.
Then, finally, the rookie quarterback hit Bryant for a crucial first down on third-and-6 from the Dallas 28. Only 2:25 remained, with the Cowboys trailing by three.
But as Bryant took his first steps with the ball, Janoris Jenkins wrapped him up and the ball popped out. Giants safety Landon Collins scooped it up for the Cowboys' third turnover of the night.
