IRVING, Texas -- As the Dallas Cowboys look at all that went wrong in 2015, they keep coming back to the quarterback position.
Owner and general manager Jerry Jones has said the biggest regret as to how the front office put together the roster was how they handled Tony Romo's backup. They went with Brandon Weeden as the No. 2 after brief flirtations with Shaun Hill and Matt Schaub.
In 2016, the Cowboys figure to address the position in some manner. While saying he believes Romo has four or five more years left as a top-level quarterback, Jones has mentioned the possibility of drafting a quarterback early in next spring’s draft and adding a veteran through free agency.
