LANDOVER, Md. -- The Dallas Cowboys are carrying Tony Romo on the 53-man roster with the hope that he could return for a playoff game. However, for that to happen, they may need a miracle to occur since they're currently 3-8.
In projecting the inactives for Monday night's game against the Washington Redskins, Romo is the surest of bets since he’s 11 days off a broken left collarbone.
Some may question the wisdom of keeping Romo on the roster at the expense of developing another player for the final five weeks of the year.
