I tweeted three weeks ago that no Cowboys player had taken over Tony Romo's locker at The Star in Frisco. No player is wearing his No. 9, either.
At the time, the only jersey numbers not in use were the ones that once belonged to Romo, Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach and Emmitt Smith.
I joked that it was all designed to make things easier for a possible Romo return.
Tony Romo's jersey number and locker aren't being used. Makes it easier for a possible return. I'm kidding. But maybe not. But maybe.
