The Cowboys will honor Tony Romo's career.
What they don't have is a date for the ceremony.
Owner Jerry Jones made it clear Wednesday that the Cowboys have every intention of recognizing what the quarterback meant to the franchise. But at the moment nothing is in place.
"We will look to the future on timing as to when we might have more recognition,'' Jones said. "At this time, there are no plans for there to be a large scale public (event), something at the stadium, something at a ballgame or anything like that.
"There are not succinct plans to do that.
