The chances of Jerry Jones trading for star safety Earl Thomas this season were slim entering Sunday.
But now, the odds of him being traded from the Seahawks to the Dallas Cowboys might be on life support.
On Sunday, during Seattle’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, the former Texas Longhorns’ star seriously injured his leg on a play late in the fourth quarter.
An air cast was then put on Thomas’ leg before he was carted off the field.

If Thomas is indeed out for the season, the Cowboys would not be able to acquire him because he wouldn’t be able to pass a physical in a trade scenario.
