While Ezekiel Elliott struggled, Alfred Morris swung for the fences and saved Cowboys

LANDOVER, Md. -- Alfred Morris didn't exactly knock it out of the park in his first game back in Washington. But his home run swing returned just in time to save the Cowboys.

With rookie Ezekiel Elliott having trouble holding on to the football, the Cowboys turned to Morris.

The former Redskins running back's 4-yard touchdown run with 4:45 to play gave the Cowboys a 27-23 lead they wouldn't relinquish. After scoring, Morris celebrated in usual fashion by imitating a home run swing.

Before the touchdown, Morris had carried the ball only twice in his first game back at FedEx Field since signing with the Cowboys in March.
